PENDA LAB Pendimethalin 30% EC is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide used to control annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds in various crops by inhibiting cell division and elongation.
Type : Selective and pre-emergence herbicide. It can also have post-emergence effects on new weeds.
Mode of action : It works by inhibiting cell division and elongation, preventing weed seedlings from developing. It is absorbed through the roots and shoots.
Weed control : Effectively controls a broad spectrum of annual grasses, sedges, and some broadleaf weeds. It kills weeds that have not yet emerged.
Crop compatibility : It is used in crops like wheat, rice, cotton, and soybean. It is designed not to harm the crops when used according to the recommended dosage.
Application : Should be applied within 0-4 days of sowing or transplanting, before weeds emerge. The soil should be free of weeds, trash, and clods for best results.
Residual effect : Provides residual control, meaning it kills weeds that emerge after application for a long duration. It has no residual effect on subsequent crops if used as directed.
Soil conditions : Weed control may be less effective in soils with a very high percentage of organic matter.
