• GRAMMER SUPER • Quizalofop - Ethyl 5 % EC

GRAMMER SUPER Quizalofop ethyl 5% EC is a selective, post-emergent herbicide used to control narrow-leaf weeds, such as grasses, in broadleaf crops like soybean, cotton, and groundnut. It works by inhibiting the enzyme Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), which is essential for lipid synthesis, thereby killing the weeds without harming the crop. The product is systemic, absorbed through the leaves, and translocated throughout the plant, preventing regrowth.

Key features and benefits : Target weeds : Effectively controls a wide range of annual and perennial grassy weeds, including Echinochloa and Eleusine species.

Target crops : Suitable for use in broadleaf crops like soybean, cotton, groundnut, onion, black gram, and other vegetables and oilseeds.

Mechanism of action : A selective, systemic herbicide that inhibits the ACCase enzyme in target grasses, disrupting lipid synthesis and cell membrane formation.

Rapid action : Quickly absorbed by weeds and translocated to the root zone, with rain-fastness typically within one hour of application.

Long-lasting effect : Provides long-lasting control and prevents regeneration of weeds. Visual effects: Affected weeds may turn purplish-red within 5-8 days and are completely killed in 10-15 days.
